That's awesome. I've just got myself a timbuk2 tote made from 1680d ballistic nylon. Like you, I wanted something 'worth shelling our hard earned cash for', and found this page. Nice to meet you btw!

Didn't know the so called 'abrasion resistance' can be exploited using the stoll test. But I should just stop worrying since I don't work in the building site. I'm sick of bags fraying in the bottom edges/corners. I'll abuse my new bag daily for some time and we'll see.

But even today, the Booq is holding up very well, even the zips which usually go when you pack as much crap into a bag like I do.

Yeah your right - today Im having the same issue, I have to delete the mouse out of devices and re-add it again, otherwise it doesn't pair.
Might try pairing with my other iMac and see if theres a firmware update or something.

'In both fabrics the tear strength and the abrasion resistance are apparently so much higher than necessary, we as end-users will seldom if ever experience the difference.'
> when you say 'so much higher than necessary' does it mean that either fabric is virtually abrasion resistant?

Hey man, thanks for posting this info on getting the scrolling to work. BUT, after I reboot my Windows 7 computer, the Apple Wireless Mouse isn't recognized. It's a real pain to get it paired again. What is up with that? I have the new Apple Wireless Keyboard as well for my MacBook Pro, and it works perfectly with my Windows 7 on my dell. The keyboard works immediately when the computer gets to my login screen. Not sure why the new mouse isn't being picked up. :( Any ideas?
